Ovenden West Riding AFC

 

Calderdale’s top amateur football club. Since becoming a partner of OSCA has developed junior teams. The Saturday morning “Soccer Nippers” training has produced an u/8 boys/girls team, along with u/11 boys/girls sides. These two teams have added to the u/15 girls team and the highly successful u/16 boys teams. To learn more about our football teams, click here

Ovenden Rugby League FC

 

The Club has produced several professional players to name a few:

Luke Ambler (Leeds Rhinos/ Halifax RLFC & Irish International)

Jake Connor (Huddersfield Giants/ Hull FC and England International

Calderdale Community Taekwondo has been training at Forest Cottage for a number of years.  It it taught by 4th Dan Neil Capper and trains Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
