The current u10 Alpha’s team was developed from a small group of siblings of players in this team, who would participate in fun, skill-based activities whilst their older brothers trained.
Dan, who has three years’ experience and has just started his journey into the FA qualifications by completing the FA Playmaker course, completed the group.
Although not currently recruiting new players; anybody with an interest in joining the team is welcome to come to a training session to meet the group.
Ovenden West Riding u10 Alpha Wolves (‘23-‘24 season) play in the Austria division of the Huddersfield League. It is a high ability team which finished the season unbeaten in its last 11 fixtures, earning a reputation as one of the toughest opponents in the division.
John is a FA Level 2 qualified coach, with eight years’ experience having taken a previous team from u6-u14’s.
